Instant Semolina (Sooji/Rawa) Dosa Recipe

Ingredients:-

  1. 2 cup rava / semolina / suji
  2. coarse 1 cup rice flour
  3. fine1/2 cup maida / all purpose flour
  4. 1 tbsp curd
  5. 1 tsp salt
  6. 6-7 cup water
  7. 1 chilli
  8. finely chopped 1/2 tsp black pepper
  9. crushed Few curry leaves, finely chopped oil, for roasting

How to make Semolina (Sooji/Rawa) Dosa:-

  1. Firstly, in a large mixing bowl take 2 cup rawa, 1 cup rice flour and 1/2 cup maida.
  2. Add salt, green chili and black paper Powder and add 1 cup of water
  3. Mix well making sure there are no lumps.
  4. Add few curry leaves and curd and mix well.
  5. Add 4 cup water and prepare a watery consistency batter.
  6. Rest the batter for 20 minutes making sure the rawa has absorbed water.
  7. Mix well making sure the batter is thin watery consistency.
  8. Now carefully pour the dosa batter over very hot tawa.
  9. Also spread a tsp of oil.
  10. Lower the flame and cook until the dosa turns golden and crisp.
  11. Finally, fold the dosa and serve dosa.
  12. Immediately with tomato chutney or coconut chutney.
